Once again, this is from my email and I felt it worth sharing to see what others might think about it. In this first section, I agree that we are in challenging times. That doesn't have to mean bad.  The concept of visualizing what we want to have happen, to use that as a meditation tool, that I have tried. It didn't create a miracle for me-- sometimes it is hard to decide what a miracle would be, but it does give a few relaxing moments (or more) of living with what we would like to have be our reality-- even if it doesn't change our physical world. What follows is all from the email. I was unable to view the videos due to limitations from my server in terms of usage when online; but if anybody else does, please let me know if they seemed of value and I might try to do it some late night.

We are in some tough times on Earth, and many of us have had some interesting ... challenges ... lately, or within the last year or so.  That's because we are intimately connected to Earth, and her vibration is one with ours.

So, two things that have come to my awareness of late I think have critical information for us all.

The first is a very revealing video - actually, 3 videos - of a bone-throwing and spiritual reading about the BP oil spill and what it means, and what we, as a collective human group, need to do now.

Bone throwing is an ancient art of divination;  like Tarot or crystal ball or Runes - they are all tools to guide the spiritual "reader."  In this case, Kay is the reader ... Kay is pretty amazing, very pure and connected.  This reading (as given in the 3 videos) supports a lot of the information I've received from other sources about the spill.  

We truly are at a crossroads in our human consciousness.  I urge and encourage you to watch these 3 videos and then share them with your spheres of influence and friends.

ALSO - I don't know if you're familiar with Gregg Braden or not.  He is a geologist - author of "Zero Point" (about Earth's magnetics and vibration - very interesting book).  Over the years, he's gradually become interested in prayer and how it has the power to influence our own life and our surrounding environment -- he even traveled to Tibet in search of "lost" ancient texts and scrolls about prayer.  Traditionally, the Tibetan monks have been the recorders of spiritual history.  Gregg has written several books about that, and on our connection to higher consciousness through our thoughts and beliefs.  I have attended one of his workshops, and I must say he is an awesome and very connected being.  

Anyway, here below is a segment from one of his books with some added notes.  A powerful reminder of our own power to change things in our life ... and in the world.  (This segment is taken from a recent newsletter by Dick Sutphen.  Do you know who he is?  If not, a brief intro to him is at the end of this short piece.)

“ALREADY DONE”

This column is from 2006 [of Dick Sutphen's newsletter]. I hope you enjoy it again, or for the first time.

During the visualization portion of my Mind-Programming CDs and videos, I ask listeners to imagine what they desire as if it were already so, and to do this with emotion. As an example I’ve used for 30 years: If you’re programming to lose weight, visualize yourself stepping upon your bathroom scale and watch the dial settle upon the weight you desire to be. Then imagine yourself excitedly telling your partner or a friend that you have reached your goal and how good it feels.

Visualization with emotion is the most powerful part of a mind-programming session.

To bring some of this thinking up to speed, I’ll share some recent awareness that excited me. I spent last weekend as a participant in a “Divine Matrix” seminar conducted by author Gregg Braden. Gregg’s message was a composite of his books, “The God Code,” “The Isaiah Effect” and “Secrets of the Lost Mode of Prayer.”

Much of Gregg’s communication relates to his long search through ancient writings and sacred texts for a more effective form of prayer. As much as I am into mind-programming, I had not considered that classic prayer -- asking God for what you want -- actually cancels out your request. From a programming perspective, you begin by acknowledging you do not have what you want.

Here’s an excerpt from Gregg’s latest book, “Secrets of the Lost Mode of Prayer.” He describes accompanying a friend on a hike through the NM high desert. During a time of drought, his friend David wanted to pray for rain within a medicine wheel.   Gregg writes: “I wasn’t prepared for what I saw next. I watched carefully as David removed his shoes, gently placed his naked feet into the circle, and honored the four directions and all of his ancestors. Slowly, he placed his hands in front of his face in a praying position, closed his eyes and became motionless. Oblivious to the heat of the midday desert sun, his breathing slowed and became barely noticeable. After only a few moments, he took a deep breath, opened his eyes to look at me, and said, ‘Let’s go. Our work is finished here.’

“Expecting to see dancing, or at least some chanting, I was surprised by how quickly this prayer began and then ended. ‘Already?’ I asked. ‘I thought you were going to pray for rain!’

“David’s reply to my question has been the key that has helped so many to understand this kind of prayer. As he sat on the ground to lace up his shoes, David looked up at me and smiled. ‘No,’ he replied. ‘I said that I would pray rain. If I have prayed for rain, it would never happen.’”

Gregg asked, “‘If you didn’t pray for rain, then what did you do?’

“‘It’s simple,’ he replied. ‘I began to have the feeling of what rain feels like. I felt the feeling of rain on my body, and what it feels like to stand with my naked feet in the mud in our village plaza because there has been so much rain. I smelled the smells of rain on the earthen walls in our village, and felt what it feels like to walk through fields of corn chest high because there has been so much rain.’”

David had used his thoughts, feelings and emotions to perceive what he desired as an already accomplished fact. Although Gregg does not go into it in the book, in the seminar he said the following day it started to rain and did not stop until after the rain itself had become a problem.

In another segment of the seminar, Gregg showed a video of a woman with inoperable cancer being healed at a medical clinic in mainland China. A female technician used an ultra-sound monitor allowing us to see what was happening within the patient’s body as three doctors chanted something to the effect of the healing being “ALREADY DONE.” Within 2-1/2 minutes the cancer disappeared. The success rate of such healings is over 90 percent if the patient is willing to establish new patterns of thinking, diet and exercise.

The Gulf Oil Spill and Astrology

Much has happened that has caught the attention of the whole world since the last article I sent out. Remember I talked about the five passes of the Saturn/Uranus opposition. This opposition affects everyone and everything on our planet, from your own personal life journey straight into local and national government and world level events.

Here is the biggest challenge of all…The explosion on the Deepwater Horizon rig in the Gulf of Mexico on April 20, 2010 was only three days before the fourth of five exact Saturn/Uranus oppositions. Uranus (high technology and sudden upsets) was in Pisces (oil, the sea, “the forest”, if you will) while Saturn (conservative, practicality) was in Virgo (engineering, “the trees”). Some people contend that the technology used to drill offshore in such deep water and to such deep levels below the sea floor was extended to its limits. In addition, Mercury was retrograde at 12 degrees of Taurus, which implies that perhaps the best decisions were not being made when this disaster occurred. At least, the retrograde Mercury indicates that the whole truth is not readily available, or that how to fix the problem will take an about-face when it turns direct. The Moon was at 17 degrees of Cancer, less than two degrees away from the upcoming eclipsed spot of 19 degrees Cancer, indicating this is a profound event and not just a minor accident or procedural hiccup.

All attempts to stop or slow the leak have failed. On May 10, Mercury stood still to begin forward motion. The next day, executives from BP, Transocean, and Haliburton were called before congress for hearings. All three blamed the other companies for the situation. On May 28, Mercury got back to where it had turned retrograde and the scope of the problem began to come into focus. Obama toured the Louisiana coast, saying, "I am the president and the buck stops with me." -- BP CEO Tony Hayward flew over the Gulf. BP said the disaster has cost the company $930 million. The next day BP reported that the complex "top kill" maneuver to plug the well had failed, crushing hopes for a quick end to the largest oil spill in U.S. history.

By June 3, when Venus arrived at the spot where the Moon was at the time of the blowup, BP shares had dropped to one-third of their value before the incident. Evidence of behind-the-scenes chicanery abounds. Another report from one of the survivors on the platform testifying before a congressional commmittee indicated that there was a meeting of crew members the morning of the blast. They all knew the well was “bumping” like a kettle of water starting to boil and that pressure had to be relieved. Local crew members wanted to proceed one way but were overridden by a BP executive who said they had to do it his more economical way or be fired. We all know what that led to.

It will take until July 4 when Mercury gets to the 17th degree of Cancer before the extent of what we are all dealing with starts to become really apparent.

There is plenty of room for skulldrudgery, greed, lies, ineptitude and perhaps hidden agendas, but let's get to the point. What’s important is that the fifth and final opposition of Saturn and Uranus will occur on July 26. This will be the final and most critical of the oppositions. The first four were in Pisces/Virgo. The last one will be at zero degrees of Aries/Libra. This is the opposition that will propel us into the next 40 years of the cycle. The zero degree of Aries/Libra is at what is known as a cardinal point. There are 4 cardinal points and each one is where the sun is at the first day of the new season (the Aries/Libra axis is on the first days of spring and fall). The time around the Saturn/Uranus opposition (July 26) is “one to watch”. The opposition is tightly squared by Pluto in Capricorn, the sign of austerity, meaning that tough decisions will have to be made that affect us all for some time to come. The open spot in the T-square is at 0 degrees of Cancer, implying that the common man/woman will have to take up the slack. We will all be squeezed; and, at the same time, we will step up to the plate and perform beyond expectations and hold everything together.

In the meantime, there is plenty of other activity of note. The partial eclipse of the Moon on June 26 is less than 1 degree from Pluto, emphasizing the need for all of human society to rethink how wealth, energy and our future path are proceeding.

Sometimes I have prophetic dreams, and it seems that the more catastrophic the event in the dream is the further in the future it happens after I dream about it. I dreamed about the Bhopal catastrophe in India the night before it happened. I dreamed about the tsunami in Southeast Asia three weeks before it happened. Several months ago, I dreamed I saw a black mushroom cloud visible to the south and east of Sedona. I have wondered about that dream ever since. Was something going to happen just south of here in Phoenix? Now, it seems clear. It is about the environmental bomb that has gone off in the Gulf of Mexico. In my dream, the place I saw the cloud was over the mesas to the south and east of here, which is where the monsoon clouds start to build up in July and August. Theses clouds bring moisture up from the Gulf of Mexico. will this summer’s monsoon and hurricane season bring an environmental holocaust equivalent to a nuclear blast?

The Deepwater drilling rig is located not far from where the asteroid hit that did in the dinosaurs. Will this catastrophe on our Earth be a species-ending event? There was a similar spill off the east coast of Mexico in 1979. Engineers went through the same scenario as the BP engineers have this last month. They never capped that gusher in 1979; it simply ran out of oil. The Russians have successfully stopped four or five runaway gushers using nuclear devices. The explosion is so hot it melts the rocks and when they cool it plugs the hole. They have offered their expertise, but all of their successes took place on land. Could this be attempted underwater? One thing for sure, it will be a long time before we see the end of this deep water disaster.

Why are we still drilling for oil tens of thousands of feet beneath the ocean bottom? As a people, we are addicted to oil. A hundred years ago, most people still walked where they wanted to go. Horses pulled heavy wagons. The first oil well wasn’t drilled until 1859 and that was to get fuel for gas lamps.

What happened in the ocean on April 20, 2010 that, along any shore, touches us all is far more than a hiccup in the oil-drilling industry. It is time to reevaluate our lifestyle and our attachment to our planet. Viewed from the Galactic center, the Earth is bleeding. How can we help heal this tremendous wound?

The Hopi prophecies go on to say that we are transitioning from the 4th world to the 5th. They say that the transition will be finally marked when the Blue Kachina (the star Sirius) dances in the plaza and removes his mask. The total solar eclipse of July 11 is very near Sirius. The Moon was at this spot at the time of the Deepwater Rig explosion. There will be more to this in the years to come. The Galactic Doctor may be on the way to stop the bleeding and send us all on to the next world. This event is part of what has been described as the Earth’s ascension, and we are part of the Earth so we ascend too. Moving to the 5th world does not mean abandoning the 4th, it means that our focus changes. If we focus on the highest good for all then that’s what will happen. Think positive things and positive things will happen. Astrology provides a map. It is fun and interesting to watch and see what happens in the world and our daily lives as the planets line up as they do. But, like any map, we drive the road as we see fit. Those who ignore the sharp turns and go too fast just might go over the edge. Those who temper their driving to the conditions and follow the most expedient route can arrive at their destination safe, invigorated and on time. Or, as Yogi Berra once explained: “If you don’t know where you’re going, you might end up somewhere else”.

Hold on to your hats and your heart, for the winds of time are changing…Come along…Won’t you come along…?

Full Moon is Thursday, May 27th at 5:08 PM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT). This moon is powerful and expansive and a perfect time to set up for the energies coming in next month. Focus on this expansive quality and ask what can be more expanded in your own life. Perhaps it is the way you perceive, or your finances or your connections with others. Use the fullness of the moon to imprint you with the ability to expand into the next level of functioning and the next level of creativity. Since we are going into a cycle of expansion, it is crucial to know exactly what you wish to expand, otherwise you may end up expanding what you don't want. This is potentially a very prosperous and creative time.

Full Moon in Sagittarius; Sun in Gemini

The Moon is again fully expanded in opposition to the Sun at its maximum of separation, tension, awareness and externalization. The Sun has moved into the mentally agile sign of Gemini while the Moon is expressing through the themes and archetypes of Sagittarius. We experience the mutable air qualities of Gemini in polarity to the mutable fire of Sagittarius. Ruled by the neutral messenger planet, Mercury, Gemini represents the concrete mind of thinking, speaking, writing, moving locally, creating exchange of information and communication, and generating and supporting relationship in the personal realms. Air connects us.

Sagittarius, under the influence of Jupiter, takes the concrete mind and expands the mental into abstract mind that functions in the social realms. Great networkers, those Sagittarians, enlightened, stimulating and tolerant, not to mention generous, broad-minded and joyful thanks to the jovial (Jupiter) influence they are blessed by. Inspired by its fiery element, mere information is synthesized and integrated into higher level thinking such as philosophy, religion, academic education, law and idealistic principal. They can put it all together and see the big picture. Fire inspires, spiritualizes, and transforms us. (Aries and Leo are its fire brothers.)

Sagittarius rules the thighs, pelvis and hips, those parts that move us forward, because exploring the unknown motivates Sag, as does the freedom to explore new vistas whether in foreign cultures and peoples, spiritual growth, or academic study. Their arrow points to the mountain range far in the distance that expands our vision and gives purpose and meaning to our life's journey.

It's not really the Full Moon that is prominent in this two-week moon period, although it certainly adds an urgent, earnest quality to the period. What's more influential is the movement of two larger planets into new signs and together moving into prominent alignment with two major planetary players, Saturn and Pluto.

Uranus is significantly making its first foray into Aries where it will reside for a few months testing the waters and specifically opposing and testing Saturn in late July in the last of 5 oppositions for these two giants tugging at each other on the one hand with innovation, change and breaking away from the past (Uranus), and on the other hand hunkering down conservatively to preserve the ways it has always been while maintaining power, control and the familiar structure of tradition (Saturn). The first four oppositions (spanning the last 17 months starting with Obama's election date) took place in the signs of Virgo/Pisces, but this last opposition will take place between Aries/Libra signaling a leap forward and a call to radically clear the decks and prepare for birthing something dynamic and beautiful. Mars rules Aries and Venus rules Libra. Mars - Venus? Sounds like the masculine/feminine balance will be a way that we personally can affect change on the planet. And there is a good chance Mother Nature will lead the way. Spend time with your face and heart planted on the Earth and reap the benefit of speaking and surrendering your burdens to the great Mother who can turn those sorrows into waterfalls and roses and tree trunks.

Saturn, which has been in retrograde motion since Jan. '10 giving us time to reflect on what needs dismantling and restructuring in our lives, turns direct on Sunday, May 30 and we begin the slow process of taking action on what has become more and more apparent (sometimes painfully so) as to what is no longer bringing us joy and inspiration and what has to be let go of to be able to travel on our path with greater lightness. For some this is letting go of relationships, projects and plans and for others it is making a commitment to self and others to restructure our lives and live in a new way. As a collective we are reorganizing our values and habits in the face of global realities and our over consumption of the planet's resources. Just look around you at the consequences of unchecked consumption on our bodies, our finances, our planet.

Uranus is powerful in Aries; it will essentially be in this sign until 2018. An 84-year cycle, it was last in Aries in 1927-35. Now that was a significant period of change! Read some history and you will find reference to the Great Depression, rise of Hitler, and other sobering life-changing events. And please note, Jupiter will also be entering Aries (once every 12 years) on June 5th and traveling with Uranus until early 2011. Jupiter in Mars-ruled Aries will add fuel to the fire of the polarities we are feeling in our personal lives and in our government as it tries to solve the long list of areas that need updating to the new constraints and opportunities we are experiencing. The up side of Uranus in Aries is that incredible scientific innovation and invention take place and the rebellious side of Uranus comes out and rapid social change takes place like it or not. Aries is impulsive, hot-headed and doesn't like to take 'no' for an answer, why should it, it's young, exuberant and enthusiastic. Problems and obstacles can practically solve themselves under this influence when we align through our hearts with Spirit. With Aries independence and courage to tackle the new, we have tremendous momentum if we don't let our fear in it's many shape-shifting forms get the best of our truth. Remember the image in Avatar where the entire tribe is locked in arm-in-arm swaying around the wise old grandmother tree, well that's just about what it's going to take to stay focused, positive and keep our head above low frequency energies during these times of profound change that we are in. We can't do it alone. Too hard. We will do it together - no problem.

New Moon is Wednesday, April 14 at 6:29AM MDT (Mountain Daylight Time) Re-focus on your creativity and imagination and what you are birthing or desiring to manifest for yourself. The new moon is always a good time to plant seeds, to honor what has died and to appreciate the rich compost created by your personal past history. New moon will often bring a still point, like an engine winding down or a computer shutting off. When you re-boot, re-start and re-focus, it is important that you listen only to yourself and to spirit. Regardless of any drama taking place "Out There", you can find a still point, a place of security and peace inside of you. Honor that you know who you are, and you know what you want. Do not take others reactions to your ideas or desires personally. Spirit has no judgment, so talk to spirit when you need to share. During this new moon time and preferably as close to the new moon time as possible spend some quiet alone time just with yourself and spirit.

Think of it as a re-set time.

New Moon in Aries 24º

Take your cue from nature; she is ecstatic in display that comes from bursting forth in color, new growth and renewal! Aries, first sign of the zodiac, masculine and initiating with its fiery ruler Mars, radiates enthusiasm, initiative, vitality and courage for beginning anew. And like the Spring Equinox, Aries New Moon calls us to release the energy gathered into our core in the dark of winter and spend it where we feel most alive, unrestrained and full of Self.

You might be glad to know this New Moon has none of the heavy intensity of Pluto aspects to Sun/Moon prominent in the Full Moon two weeks ago. So many felt pushed to their limits under that weekend influence. This New Moon chart is notable for a lack of almost any primary aspects. Much is going on but is more subtle, preparatory and behind the scenes.

Here is the latest message from an astrologer’s viewpoint of the summer ahead. I am most hopeful you will find it informative and insightful. ...

The Big Crunch

Has your life seemed stressful lately? Are you feeling overwhelmed or overextended? You are not alone. It seems that every arena of life has been stressed more than usual recently, from the unusual solar activity patterns and our solar system’s position relative to the Galactic Center all the way down to your checkbook and maybe even those little metacarpal joints in your hands. Well, hang on, because the best is yet to come, since all the big planets from Jupiter right out into the Oort Cloud are lining up in the most tense but exciting configurations imaginable. Let’s try to sort through the action one blow at a time.

Saturn (tradition) and Uranus (novelty) have been dancing opposite each other since November 2008. Because of retrograde motion they will reach a point of exact opposition 5 times before they are through. The closer to exactness the aspect, the more intense the activity they represent. The 4th of the five oppositions is on April 26. The effect of the opposition starts to become tangible when the two orbs in question get within 5 degrees of each other. That border is crossed on March 20, the first day of spring. The battle between reform and conservativism will heat up again in all areas of life, from health care reform to financial re-thinking, environmental issues and long-standing military conflicts. The intensity of the opposition builds up to its strongest influence on day of exactness. The struggle between the need for change and the resistance to changing has been permeating everything lately: budgets at all levels, health care, gun laws, whatever. Watching the Winter Olympics back in February, the announcers constantly stressed that the competitors would have to “go over the edge” and do something to push the limit and impress judges or beat the clock. This is Uranus talking and, in Pisces, it is not such an easy mode for Uranus to work in. Saturn, on the other hand, is in Libra, the sign of its exaltation. There is no better sign for Saturn to work from. So, many of the athletes took falls or otherwise overextended and lost out to those who did traditional, conservative performances flawlessly in order to win medals. The conservative opposition has had the upper hand recently.

Uranus moves into Aries on May 28, however, and will gain a lot of power in that sign. Changes will come much easier, especially when Jupiter comes up to conjoin Uranus on June 7, a very powerful combination to help initiate something very new and different. It would be enough just to have Saturn and Uranus opposite, but they are lined up very close to what is called “cardinal points”. Cardinal Points are those four points that define the start of each season. Uranus moves from deep in late Pisces to 0 degrees of Aries on the first day of spring. Cardinal points are important because they stand at the place where the season is catapulted into existence. Things that happen when planets are within 3 degrees of a cardinal point have a long-lasting effect; trend-setting you would say.

It is the big planets that define the scene, while the close-up and personal planets manifest these big energies into personal, daily life. So, even though Saturn and Uranus are exactly opposite on April 26, the Moon comes in to apply the paint to the canvas the day before when it is conjunct to Saturn. Mark April 25 as a “day to watch” in the news or with your family and friends. And with Mars now in direct motion, it returns to the spot of its station by May 17. So, if you have projects that have been fecundating over the winter, you ought to see some effects from your efforts by this time. Mars adds initiative and spark to everything and livens up all aspects of activity. Include the Saturn/Uranus opposition and it’s like turning up the heat under a pot on the stove.

We have Jupiter involved in this, too. Jupiter reflexly brings about an image of being happy and jolly and bountiful. Looking deeper, however, it rules over large organizations like governments, religions and corporations. Too much Jupiter leads to excess, but this planet is always trying to teach us something and sometimes the lessons are bigger-than-life. Jupiter is in mid-Pisces now but will move to the end of the sign to combine with Uranus for a big look into the Great Unknown that lies beyond this 3-dimensional world. How they do that remains to be seen.

On May 22, Jupiter is very close to Uranus at 29 degrees of Pisces and opposite a Moon/Saturn conjunction at 29 degrees of Virgo. Directly on the cardinal points, this can make for lots of stress and lots of opportunity; it is a good time to have your senses open and watching. Pisces/Virgo is always associated with health conditions, and everything from your lumbago to the nation’s health-care system will be under maximum pressure.

Just a week later, on June 2, Jupiter and Uranus are conjunct at 0 degrees of Aries, the zero point of the whole astrological cycle. This means new beginnings in a big way. No longer shrouded under the secretive veil of the Pisces unconscious, when we get to Aries, everything is out in the open where we can all see it. By this time, we get to see the society-wide influence of Pluto.

Pluto is retrograding this spring and summer, moving back towards the 0 degrees of Capricorn cardinal point. The June 2 Jupiter/Uranus conjunction is very close to square to Pluto, meaning that the changes afoot are a direct result of huge social and perhaps even climate changes that mandate changing direction as a culture.

Pluto is very close to the Sun in the chart for the Federal Reserve. Will the dollar lose more status in the world marketplace? Will anything happen to change the philosophy concerning the national debt? Not only are Jupiter/Uranus square to Pluto but so is Saturn, and, classically, the economy is at its worst when Saturn and Pluto are square. They have been in that relationship the past year or so, but it’s not over yet. The last square is August 20, so don’t expect any real improvements to the world economy until then.

In the midst of the twisting forces pulling on the big planets, we have a total eclipse of the Sun on July 11. This is part of the Saros cycle of eclipses that is closest to the fixed star, Sirius. Sirius is the 4th brightest object in the sky and our closest celestial neighbor, only 4 light-years away.

There are certainly plenty of legends about Sirius: how beings from that star are responsible for placing the plant kingdom here on Earth; how they directed the building of the pyramids and that they live still in house cat bodies and watch over Earth as whales and dolphins.

The United States was formed on July 4, when the Sun was exactly conjunct to Sirius. Sirius is the only star that does not precess like all the others; its position remains fixed and does not lose 1 degree every 72 years like all the other stars. January 1 has been selected to start the New Year because Sirius is directly overhead at midnight on that date, every year without variation. The eclipse on July 11 implies that we get input, directions and feedback from the great spiritual entities that reside on Sirius.

Eclipses also go along with changes in the power structure of governments and leaders. Perhaps the US might lose some of its status as a world power in the months and years after this eclipse. This happens simultaneously with Jupiter/Uranus opposite Saturn and Pluto exactly halfway between. This is like looking at the inside of a diesel engine with the piston at the most compressed postion in the cylinder and the eclipse injecting the fuel. This is the power stroke that catapults us into a new way of being.

Just two weeks later on July 26 Saturn and Uranus form the last of the exact oppostions at the critical cardinal point of 0 Aries. It is of historical interest that the exact Saturn/Uranus opposition of June 7, 1920 marked the first day of Prohibition, that great social experiment that was supposed to stop the drinking problem in the US, but instead fostered organized crime and a general atmosphere of lawlessness.

What great social experiment might we all be embarking on this time? Mars is close to Saturn this coming July 26 and marks what is most probably the peak of the stress for all of us. The opposition is square to Pluto, making an intense T-square configuration that is unusual, powerful and profound.

In August 1999 there was a Grand Cross configuration that involved every planet in fixed signs except for Pluto. This event marked a point where every soul on the planet declared which of two paths they were on from then until the fated 2012 rollover date for the long-count Mayan calendar. These two paths are described in the Ra Material as channeled by Carla Rueckert. She states that most souls are on the Service-To-Others path, which basically assumes that we are all in this together and nobody advances until everybody advances and all souls are seen as equal; helping each other is the path of progress. The Service-To-Self path involves trying to climb over others to further one’s own aims. This path is very stressful and makes souls strong, but incurs a lot of karma that needs to be made up later. We can see the stratification in society with a few “haves” and a lot of “have nots”. This is because souls on each path co-exist here, whereas Ra says that usually they are left to evolve and grow in places where there are just Service-to-Self souls or just Service-to-Others. This is one of the things that makes planet Earth a very special and unusual place in the universe.

What we have this summer is a T-square in cardinal signs which means each soul now has to make some effort or key decision to follow their chosen path. The T-square pattern has an empty or balancing point that is at 0 degrees of Cancer. This represents humanity as a whole, or the humanness of all of us. This is the gate that souls pour through into incarnation. It is the common people who will feel the most stressed, abused, and taken advantage of, but they will also exert the most influence over how things finally shake out.

The gulf between the polarities will widen and people will entrench themselves deeper into their chosen perspective. The entire time of Leo, from July 26 through August 20 is a wild, roller-coaster ride of one stressful configuration after another, which is fitting considering the Leo eclipse and Grand Cross of 1999. The only outer planets standing off from this big T-square are Chiron and Neptune, the healer and the mystic respectively. These two are allies to us during this time.

They will remind us to listen to the Navajo prophecy about “tending your own garden” and “don’t look outside”. This simply means that we be kind and respectful towards everyone around us and that we look inside ourselves and discover how we can transform our old ways of being into a new paradigm that speaks to creating a world that is truly equal on all levels of the heart and mind, one that encompasses love, compassion and understanding of the next person we encounter, no matter who he/she may be. May the journey ahead lead you into a peaceful transformation.

full moon

Full Moon is Monday, March 29 at 8:25 PM Mountain Daylight Time.

This is a potent moon, the first spring moon that demands that you show up and honor who you truly want to be in this life. Don't waste the gifts of this moon with whining, complaining, and regretting what you don't have. Where you are is exactly where you have placed yourself in your universe at this time. So if you like it, do something very honoring in gratitude to where you have ended up. If not, you may need to get rid of something that symbolizes an old path, an old attachment. Gift it to spirit with generosity. Remember that Pluto will not let you get away with sweeping the lower frequencies under the rug. Do something for yourself out of compassion, forgiveness and a tremendous amount of self-love.
