Once in awhile I get an email from a psychic acquaintance in Tucson. I don't always know that I agree with all of what I read but I like to pass along some of it just so others can make up their own minds. The following comes under that category.

Hello Everyone.......I've been debating with myself as to whether I should send out an email about some information I'm aware of, that I feel is important enough for me to write this email, and have finally elected to do just that. I am sending this email to some people who are not on my email list because I feel the information is that important. 

The sources of this information are very accurate and are rarely in error.......Cosmic Awareness (cosmicawareness.org), and it's interpreter, Will Berlinghof (rainbowphoenix.com), the Pleiadians (pleiadians.com) as well as my very own Spirit team. I can assure you this information is NOT on the mainstream news, and if it is, most of it is false. 

The first bit of information concerns the radiation from the Fukushima nuclear facility in Japan. It's very, very bad and has now reached the entire west coast from Alaska, Canada and down to Mexico. Much debris is now clearly washing up in these areas including many dead sea life. I love fish, especially wild salmon caught in remote areas of Alaska, and tuna, which I've mainly purchased from Wild Planet and Vital Choice which test their products for mercury and so forth and are an impeccable source. 

However, my Spirit team has told me the last few weeks not to eat fish anymore. There is too much radiation in all sea life! And that goes for all fish that are farm raised as well. With oil spills and other toxic poisons, it's just not safe to eat any of it. 

In addition, there's a high probability of many areas being evacuated in the Pacific (including large portions of Japan) and along the entire western coastal areas in the next few years as many people become very sick. 

As many of you already know, earth's waters are in pretty bad shape as are our food sources are as well. Much of the US's produce is genetically modified (GMO) and not fit to eat. How many of you know that all corn except organic corn seeds are GMOs. 

For more information on GMO produce and food, a very good source is Melissa Diane Smith (melissadianesmith.com), who has written extensively on this subject. From Melissa's website, there are links to lists of products and companies that either support and/or produce GMO products. In fact, almost all wheat, canola oil, corn and many other products are exclusively GMO products unless it is certified organic. We have Monsanto to thank for all these GMO seeds and produce. 

If you're interested, several times a year, there are a large group of people marching against Monsanto here in Tucson. In fact, I've seen signs around town for another march coming up soon. Whole Foods and New Life Health Centers have products specifically marked NON-GMO. 

My advice is to buy only organic produce and products marked ORGANIC whenever possible. We are truly blessed to have a wide range of Farmer's Markets here in Tucson. All the products at the Heirloom Farmer's Markets (heirloomfm.com) are organic as are several others. I bless these farmers who toil endlessly to ensure that we have real food! 

Furthermore, in addition to these concerns most of you are aware of the chemtrails that are sprayed almost daily in our skies. They are loaded with toxins and poisons of all kind. These chemtrails are being sprayed continually all over the world. Is it a wonder so many people and animals are sick? 

The best way to stay healthy is to make sure your immune systems is strong and that you run a grounding cord from your body into the earth helping to keep you grounded. Just visualize big golden cords running from under your feet, attached to a huge anchor, and drop it into the middle of the earth. It's good to do this visualization several times a day. It really helps. 

To counterbalance the radiation, take Iodine. There are many places to buy this product. I buy my minerals from Water Oz (wateroz.com) and order many bottles of Iodine at one time. Be sure to take minerals.....I find most people are really lacking in minerals and not vitamins as much. 

REMEMBER: Each one of you is responsible for your own health so be sure you become informed as to what you put into your body. 

The second subject I wish to discuss is the possibility of some VERY MAJOR events occurring starting from approximately July 15th and forward.........most likely they will be earth changes of some kind such as earthquakes, volcanos and so forth. There could be some political and/or economic changes of some kind as well. I'm not sure. What I am sure of is that our world is very unstable; in fact, many people are highly unstable at this time as many things are falling apart! 

I've long predicted and said this type of thing was coming........in January 2009, the planet Pluto went into the sign of Capricorn where it will be for approximately 18-20 years. That was the beginning of the breakdown of all structures and ways of life as we know it. In my predictions for this year (posted on my website), I specifically warned about difficulty in the US for 2014 and 2015 as Pluto is exactly opposite the Sun Sign of Cancer in the United States' birth chart (July 4, 1776). 

For those of you who are sensitive, you can feel the heaviness of energy permeating earth. Sometimes it's so heavy, I can barely function and have to lie down and nap for a while. 

There's much more I could say, but I don't wish to do so at this time. I felt a strong responsibility to at least send out this email so that each of you can be aware. 

I want to remind you all that no matter what happens you need to be in a place of KNOWING and FEELING that all is well in your world and that things ALWAYS unfold in your favor easily and effortlessly. The stronger you KNOW and FEEL this, the stronger you create grace in your life.

Between April 20 and 24, be ready to experience one of the most powerful astrological events in years. It’s alternately called the “Cardinal Grand Cross” or the “Grand Cardinal Cross”. But what matters much more than terminology is the exceptionally potent energy that will be pushed through our world as this aspect converges. It’s as if we’re all being forced through the most intense crucible of our lives at the same time. Prepare to transform!
With planetary players Pluto, Uranus, Mars and Jupiter all lined up in the formation of a cross during these few days, events will come to a fever pitch -- both personally and collectively. It’s not possible for us to have control over geopolitics, but in our intimate lives and relationships, we need to know how to make the right choices.

Astrology for 2014

Stephanie sent out her predictions for 2014. I don't do anything based on planetary influences as is claimed by astrologers-- on the other hand, I am always interested in what is going on and what another claims it might mean.

This has been a most intense year for everyone so far and it looks like it's

going to stay that way.  I've been attempting to write these predictions since January 1st, 

and it's already the middle of February!!  It's taken me quite a few weeks to put this information together.

Actually, I haven't written predictions since January of 2011.   At that time, I told everyone 

to watch out for March 11, 2011.  That's the exact day  when the tsunami/Fukushima disaster occurred. This email will be VERY LONG and divided up into several categories.  In addition, it will be posted on my website for the year should you or anyone else wish to look at it again.

EARTH'S PROFILE FOR 2014

The theme of the year is strongest the first 9/10 months and wanes toward the end of the year before another theme begins to take hold and influence the next year.  This profile is based on the Michael Material which I've taught in my classes for 30+ years.

This year's role is a Warrior with Scholar Casting meaning it's an ACTION oriented year. There could be much debating about a lot of issues, a combative year, much conflict, bluntness and truthfulness.  It's a year to cut through confusion and chaos.  For 2,000

years now, earth has been in the warrior/masculine energy cycle with a very narrow focus. This cycle has ended and we're now moving into the next larger cycle.

In this transiting cycle, we're working on moving these warrior patterns into another

framework that is softer and more feminine in nature.  To help earth transition into this

cycle, the scholar casting will help us to embody this shift......more contemplation, study,

more pursit of wisdom, philosophy and understanding of larger cycles.

The goal this year is ACCEPTANCE.  We can no longer ignore issues both personal and

collective.  We MUST learn to accept things we might not want to accept accepting

everything that comes before each of us.  The thinking should go like this:  "I created

this lesson for myself, so it's like ME ACCEPTING ME."  

The big question everyone will be asking is CAN I ACCEPT MASSIVE CHANGE ON THE PLANET?  People will no longer be able to hang onto the old way of doing things.  We must step out in a bigger way than we've ever had to before.  The role of Warrior loves a challenge, so essentially it's about "ruthless acceptance, time to accept ourselves, our lives and other people........more than we've ever had to before."  There will be difficult things that you might have to accept this year.  However, this presents HUGE possibilities for the year, a potentially very wonderful prospect!

The mode (the way we achieve the goal) is through OBSERVATION.  Observation is the single most powerful tool at our disposal....witnessing our lives and other's lives as 

life goes on.  So, the message is to observe and keep going much like our essence (soul)

does.  Observation is the single most powerful thing innate within humans.  If we are

truly observing, then we are less identified with pain, suffering, and drama.  It is

important that we learn to distant ourselves from it all, from our own life to those of

others.  What do you notice when you observe yourself and others?  What happens,

of course, is CLARITY.

The attitude is SKEPTIC & IDEALIST with skeptic reining supreme in the first part of

the year with it sliding to idealist later on.  A skeptic is a person who goes through life

investigating.......wanting to know the truth (journalists and detectives fall nicely into

this category).....it requires the use of the intellect.  There will be a tendency to doubt

yourself and other people, including leaders of countries, the banking system, the

economy, so that we learn.  It leads us to change.  Use it to make changes in your life

and society in general.

Later in the year when idealism kicks in people will become more optimistic at times

leading to being more naive than not.  The tone is approaching a time similar to the

1960s when "flower power and peace" reigned supreme for those of us living during

those times.  It will give us a glimpse as to what's coming but not as fast as we might

want.  

Going back and forth between skeptic/idealist will create endless arguments between

people about whose way is right leading to a waste of much time.

The obstacle (our challenges for the year) are three different ones with one predominating. Usually there is only one obstacle per year so this is another case of sliding back and forth like skeptic/idealist.  This year it is SELF-DESTRUCTION predominantly , SELF-DEPRECATION and ARROGANCE secondarily.  

Self-Destruction indicates, as we've already seen, agendas that are very destructive

behaviors toward the environment and in many other ways.  The old ways of blaming others will not work any more.........if people continue doing that then it will take a very long, long time to resolve issues on the planet.  If we the people take responsibility and do something constructive we will make huge changes very quickly.  We've already wasted a great deal of time on this planet.

Self-Deprecation and Arrogance work together.  There is a tendency to put one's self down, to be self-critical which comes from low self-esteem as does arrogance.  In arrogance the feeling of being worthless is still there but one tries to distract people from noticing the lack of self-esteem so that we won't notice the mistakes they make.  Obviously, the majority of the planet has self-worth problems, approximately 95% in fact.

With these obstacles clearly in place, a lot of "stuff" that's hidden in the subconscious

will be coming up to deal with which will cause people to either run from it or think they're disgusting, that sort of thing.  Instead, everyone needs to take the third option which is to OBSERVE.  Instead one should detach and think "Oh, look at that"  Transformation takes place when one is able to look at behaviors without judging them which is self-healing. This is a very powerful year for self-healing, purging, cleaning out within one's self.  It's not a comfortable place for most people but very rewarding and freeing in the end.

The centering this year is EMOTIONAL which operates as a fast processor whereas 

intellectual and moving centers are very slow processors.  When it's allowed to move

energy, it knows best how to get rid of it much quicker.  The old paradigm was more

linear and analyzing.  Warriors, generally, are very linear and are not comfortable being

in the emotional center.  

So, this year of the warrior, it's important to find its heart.  Warrior energy is related

to the third chakra, the solar plexis whereas the heart energy is more scholarly in nature

helping us to assimilate what we've learned.  One must learn to forgive which is through

the heart center.  When being in the emotional center, it allows one to move through

things in a much quicker way without having to understand anything which is rather

tricky for those who need a manual to figure things out.  

In other words, this year is about making choices based on intuition and trust rather

than having details in place.  It allows the heart to lead instead of the head which can

lead to the higher emotional center of joy, bliss and feeling so very good.  Very much

like the 1960s wanting to be connected to the beauty of art, love, and music.  It's

what gives us hope and feeling there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

A secondary influence will be the instinctive center which holds all the information

along the lines of time.......where all the fears live.   When issues begin to arise, it will

be  coming from the instinctive center which could last 4 or 5 days at a time.  When

that happens, move into the observation mode which will help you to begin to change

your relationship with a lot of your past history......re-imprint future history as well.

Don't get freaked out.  Recognize that it is a deep healing.  It might cause one feel

that they might not be able to function......it will pass.

The NEEDS for the year are SECURITY, EXPANSION, EXPRESSION.  When times are

changing rapidly, it's easy to feel security is being threatened.  The instinctive center

becomes afraid and wants to do what has worked in the past.  However, we're moving

into the future, not the past.  The only security we actually have is our spiritual path.

Everything else is insecure.

Expansion is the need for everyone to start looking at the whole world, not just where

we live or the United States.  Expansion can relate to anything, weight gain, more

money, a great deal of whatever.  It's important that we look at the big picture and

expand our view of everything.

Expression, other than in just words, will mean a boost in the arts, an appreciation

of beauty and esthetic qualities.  The arts usually blossom when the world is 

distressed.

The ELEMENT for this year is EARTH.  There will be discoveries, activities  and

movement of the earth.  Discovery of what the earth really is......minerals we don't

know of, our relationship with the earth, taking responsibility of what we're doing

to the earth.  There will be an increase in  earthquakes and volcanoes.

So, generally the theme for the year is to WAKE UP both personally and collectively.

ASTROLOGICAL HAPPENINGS - A HEAVY DUTY YEAR 2014

As this year progresses, it is seen that all of the planets which can retrograde will

indeed be doing just that.  When planets retrograde, they appear to be moving 

backwards.  Every year the outer planets (Pluto, Neptune, Saturn, Jupiter and Uranus) 

are retrograde at least once a year.  Venus and Mars, however, retrograde infrequently.

This year Venus was retrograde from last December until the end of January.  Presently,  Mercury is retrograde.  I will list all of the retrogrades in a bit.

You might be asking what does it mean when planets go retrograde.  Well, most of you

are familiar with Mercury retrograde, when communications and travel go asunder.

Generally, when planets retrograde, it SLOWS THINGS DOWN, way down!  It gives us

time to re-visit and look at issues that haven't been resolved and gives us time to

re-think and make positive changes.

RETROGRADE PLANETS THIS YEAR 

Mercury Retrograde - this planet retrogrades three times a year, every year, for three

weeks at a time.  What is important to remember when Mercury goes retrograde is that

communication and travel can be disrupted.  Remember, communication includes all

electronics and most technology.  It's NEVER a good time to sign important documents

unless you have no choice.  If there is no choice in the matter, prayer and positive

affirmations do a lot to neutralize the negative effects.

Dates of Mercury Retrograde

February 6 - 28th (7:00 AM MST)

June 7 (4:57 AM PDT) - July 1 (5:50 AM PDT)

October 4 (10:02 AM PDT) - October 25 (12:17 PM PDT)

Mars Retrograde - this planet retrogrades every two years.  However, this year Mars

will be in retrograde motion longer than usual.  Mars is the planet of energy, action and

doing.  This year there is a very unusual happening in the sky which I will get to shortly,

and Mars is one of the players in this drama.  You must be VERY CAREFUL with the

choices that you make.  Be careful of starting anything new.  Be careful of purchasing

new cars or other machinery because they could malfunction.  Generally anything made

during a Mars retrograde period can often turn out to be a lemon!

Dates of Mars Retrograde

March 1(9:24 AM MST) - May 19 (6:31 PM PDT)

Jupiter Direct/Retrograde - Jupiter started the year retrograde on January 1st.  It

will turn DIRECT (it's regular motion) on March 6 at 3:42 AM MST.  It will turn retrograde

in the sign of Leo (it's presently in Cancer) on December 8 at 1:41 PM MST.  Jupiter is the 

planet of expansion and good fortune and is direct most of the year starting on March 6th.

Saturn Retrograde -  Saturn is the taskmaster of all the planets.  It provides structure,

brings things to us, compels us to look at situations in our lives that need dealing with

and an all around "fatherly" influence.  When it is in retrograde motion, we have the 

opportunity to slowly re-visit and re-sort through our issues/problems/situations and to 

make positive changes.    Saturn will be in retrograde motion from:

March 2 at 9:19 AM MST - July 20 at 1:36 PM PDT

Uranus Retrograde - Uranus is the planet of sudden, unexpected happenings.  It is 

volatile in nature and highly unpredictable.  It's currently in a direct motion which is to

our advantage at this time.  It goes retrograde from July 21at 7:53 PM PDT and

goes direct on December 21 at 3:45 PM MST.

Neptune Retrograde - Neptune is like holding the element mercury in our hands.  You

can't grasp it.  Many people are in a Neptunian fog nowadays, dazed and confused.

On the positive side, neptune has to do with the arts, psychic development, intuition,

and creativity.  On the negative side, it relates to drugs, alcohol and addictions of all

kinds.  Neptune is currently direct but retrogrades on June 9 at 12:51 PM PDT and

goes direct on November 16 at 12:06 AM MST.

Pluto Retrograde - Pluto is the most powerful planet in our solar system.  It has to

do with power; that is, personal power and power over others.  It transforms wherever

it is.  In January of 2009, Pluto entered the sign of Capricorn beginning the cycle of

the breakdown or dismantling of structures as we know them.  We are currently in that 

cycle for many years.  Pluto tends to stay in a sign for anywhere from 18-20 years at a 

time.  When it does it's thing, so to speak, the good news is that it restructures everything, 

sort of like the Phoenix rising from the ashes.  It tends to create a whole new paradigm.  

Pluto is currently direct but begins its retrograde cycle starting on April 14 at 4:44 PM 

PDT and goes direct on September 22 at 5:34 PM PDT.  It's significant that it starts its

retrograde cycle on April 14th.  See comments below.

THE GRAND CROSS AND IT'S SIGNIFICANCE

This April of 2014 will most likely prove to be an incredible month on our planet most

especially the United States.  A most unusual occurrence will be taking place, a grand

cross, hitting the US astrological chart with a 2 by 4!

In the US chart, there are many planets in the sign of Cancer (July 4, 1776), with

Saturn in Libra and Pluto in the sign it's in now, Capricorn.

A grand cross is when there is a planet or planets in either all four mutable signs,

all four fixed signs or in the case of the US chart, all four cardinal signs (Cancer,

Capricorn, Libra and Aries).  This formation looks like a cross and when planets line

up in all four signs, it's called a Grand Cross.

A grand cross is VERY STRESSFUL as all the planets are either 90 or 180 degrees

apart forming the most difficult energetic in astrology.  To make matters worse, the

planets involved are some of the most difficult energies imaginable.  The planet

Uranus is in Aries with the planet Mars exactly opposite it in Libra.  Forming the 

90 degrees from those two planets is Pluto in Capricorn with Jupiter opposite it in

Cancer, hence a Grand Cross.  

This planetary lineup of these four planets are in the exact degrees opposite and 

square to each other, hitting the US Charts head on, the Sun at 13 degrees of Cancer

and Saturn at 14 degrees of Libra.  

Whenever the planets Mars and Uranus are in difficult aspect to each other, all hell

could break loose.  They are two of the most volatile planets in astrology.  There could

be explosions, riots, volcanic and earthquake eruptions, and just about anything you

could imagine including a potential HUGE financial disruption or collapse.

These planets start to move into position the beginning of April but are really heavy

duty by the middle of April and on APRIL 20 all four planets are exactly at 14 degrees!!

They are exact for three days straight, APRIL 20, 21 and 22!  This intensity lasts for

about a week total from April 17 - 25th.

 

COMMENTS ABOUT ALL OF THIS

This year begins a very intense cycle of change for the United States.  As you can tell

from everything I've said so far in this email, all of us will be challenged both personally,

professionally and collectively both in the US and the world. 

If we remember to detach and stay in observation, watching ourselves and all that

transpires on the planet, we will be able to make good decisions for ourselves and our

loved ones.  During the spring and summer, be careful, go slowly, evaluate carefully

before making decisions and you will be just fine.  Affirm everyday that "you are always

in the right place at the right time" and that "things always turn out better than you

ever expected".

As a concluding note, I strongly suggest that you "LAY LOW" during the month of April.  I would not fly anywhere, I would stay close to home, and be quiet and introspective.  It's NOT a time to take action!

That said, let's use the strong astrological line ups and intensity on the planet in the

most creative and positive ways possible.  Use this time to breakthrough any rigid and

set patterns in your life.  It could be a truly exhilarating time for all.

Greetings All,

Here is a little glimpse into 2014. If you are receiving this, you are on my list or someone you know put you on it. 

2014

It is a long time custom to observe the tone of any given year and its indications by the events and feelings of the first day of that year. Personal observation has shown that, at least in one’s personal life, the way New Year’s Day goes is an indicator of the whole year to come. I am writing this because January 1, 2014 has some interesting and ominous configurations that will surely indicate a particularly important and pivotal year for us all.

2014 has the unique distinction of beginning on a new Moon (in Capricorn, of course), and this new Moon is conjunct to Pluto, the planet of societal change and major upheavals. Mercury is within 2 degrees of these orbs, and the whole stellium is square to a Mars/Uranus opposition that is just a precursor of a rare and stressful grand cross that will be complete on April 20, 2014. More about that cross in another article!

The January new Moon is really the indicator of new beginnings of the grand and glorious, not just the mundane and easily forgotten New Year’s resolutions that are the custom. It is a marker of the start of profound and deep changes that promise to break up the staid, corrupt and firmly implanted norms that have outlived their influence.

The nature of Pluto, which, remember, is conjunct to the new Moon, is to present that which has been festering underground for a long time and finally break it loose. The usual analogy is to notice a dirty spot on the wall of the bathroom. When you try to scrub it, your hand goes through the wall. This opens a hole that reveals a pipe that has been leaking for months and has now rotted the sheet rock so that it crumbles and falls under your touch. Further excavation uncovers a vast area of rusted pipes, soaked wallboard and a tremendous mess. The wall has to be completely removed, the pipes replaced, the studs ripped out and redone…but, in the end, you have a new, perfectly functional and solid structure that is better than before. We will all get to see this sort of force at work as 2014 unfolds.

Pluto is our connection to the outer solar system, the realm of Spirit. It is our pipeline to the underworld; Hades, the river Styx and the Spirit World. The new Moon is the start of a cycle of manifestation. With Mercury in company we get to see and understand what Pluto has uncovered, and how the Sun and Moon will start the path to manifestation. In essence, what we have then is a peek into that which needs changing, and the means to bring those changes about here in the physical world. 2014 will spend all of its time bringing into form what is noticed on New Year’s Day.

On the first of January 2014, you can be prognosticator and seer for a day into your own personal life. Watch and see what happens to you on January 1 and imagine this day setting the tone for the whole year. This may be an exercise into the more abstract than you are used to. A pleasant day with spouse and family could indicate smooth sailing in other areas of your life. Strife followed by resolution may extend to financial or career arenas.

It’s perfectly acceptable to stack the deck and plan pleasant, fun activities. You can loll all day in bed with a hangover that can be prevented, or you can set your course for fun and adventure! Which track do you want to set out on?

There will probably be some upsets and changes on a global scale. Financial institutions and government programs are due for correction. Perhaps Earth changes and geologic upsets are in store. Capricorn is an Earth sign, after all. There is not much we can do about those things, but your own life can be manipulated by your intent and action.

Those with a birthday on or near January 1, April 1, July 1 or October 1 need to be specially aware. This new Moon is affecting you sharply with either a square or opposition, depending on your birth date.

For everyone, though, January 1, 2014 is a call to be aware and realize that it’s a good day to make some keen observations. There is a big planetary kick behind what happens to you this day. See how you can tip the scales of destiny with your new found awareness and shine your best self into the New Year to come…

The New Moon is this evening at 11:30 PM pacific time which means the New Moon is very early Monday morning, 1/23, at 12:39 AM MST.    You will have to figure out when the New Moon occurs according to your time zone.  The New Moon is at 2 degrees 42 minutes of Aquarius. 

Tomorrow, January 23, is also when Mars turns retrograde and the Chinese Year of the Black Water Dragon commences.   Quite a combination of events!

In Chinese history, the Year of the Dragon was considered to represent auspicious and unpredictable fortunes.  Successful new ventures and valuable relationships are more likely to emerge (especially after Mars turns forward in April and Venus leaves it's retrograde position (May 15 - June 27....see 

my predictions email tomorrow).

According to George Ward, who writes the column for the Pleiadian Times, he says:  "In the Chinese understanding of the elemental cycle of nature, the color black and the water element symbolize rebirth, new beginnings and the resting, rejuvenating power of the winter season. January update from Power Path

As for me, Rain, I am not totally into astrology to the point that I base my life around it but sometimes you have to wonder when you are feeling something like a lot of stress and ineffectiveness, then you talk to other creative friends who are experiencing the same thing. Maybe something's going on. That's when I go looking for what.

For me it's been a time of a lot of thinking, mental chaos almost if I don't try to control it where my mind jumps from one thing to another. I don't feel it's bad but do feel I need to focus and quit worrying. I even wrote a blog about it which is, of course, slightly chaotic as one might expect based on the general malaise I feel, but I will have it up tomorrow in Rainy Day Thoughts-- chaotic or not. 

I am hoping this will be a great year and see no reason it will not even if its beginning has been a little depressing for me on many levels. The writing though is going well. Personal life-- a little more iffy but I'm working on it.

Numerology

Because I wanted to write about 11/11/11 for another blog I write, I looked up my own number at that site and thought it was interesting and pretty much what I have to watch out for on the negative side.  I always knew 7 was my number even before I found out it actually is for those who follow numerology.
